Hopkins home The Hopkins home is located in Hartwick, NY and was completed in 1994. Prior to the Hopkins home, several other homes were built by the Northern Susquehanna Habitat for Humanity (Otsego County's "parent" affiliate)
Laurens 95 home This HFH home in Laurens was dedicated in 1995. Our affiliate is now averaging one home a year, as well as several rehabs. We have several floorplans our volunteers are familiar with, houses are going up faster than ever!
Vroman House dedication Habitat for Humanity of Otsego County volunteers gather together at the Vroman home in Pittsfield, NY for the house dedication during the summer of 1996. A bible and a hammer are traditionally presented by HFH to the partner family.
Randall Home ground breaking Judy Bartoo and Linda Randall break ground for the Randall home on Gilbert Street in Oneonta in June of 1997. This will be our affiliate's first 2 story home.
the new Stewart Home A new home for Pam Stewart and her family was built in Hartwick, NY. We dedicated this house on January 24, 1999
Goodspeed home Betty Goodspeed's home in Hartwick, NY has progressed well during the summer of 1999. (Pictured here is Dr. Emery Herman)
Thomas Home Many people joined together to provide a new roof for the Thomas home, including crews from Oneonta Job Corps and Hartwick College. Local roofing companies, including Wilson Roofing and Morley were kind enough to lend equipment. This home was the first joint rehab venture between Opportunities for Otsego and HFHOC. The home was dedicated on April 16, 2000
Webb Home The Webb Home in Hartwick was dedicated on April 8, 2001. Rev. Norman Tiffany officiated at a ceremony attended by friends, relatives and many volunteers.
Blanchard Home The Blanchards moved into their new home in February 2002.
Nick, Emery & BIll Linda Jackman's home was completed in April 2002.
Cook home Arnie and Sherry Cook moved into their new Gilbertsville home in November 2002.
Forgit Home Cathy Forgit and her family moved into their Morris Home in April 2003.
Kilts Home Beth Kilts and her family moved into their new home in February 2004. The home was dedicated on April 25, 2004.
Reese & Ella V Griffin Reese and Ella V Griffin spearheaded the movement in 1989 to start a Habitat for Humanity affiliate in our area. The Northern Susquehanna HFH affiliate went on to become Otsego County HFH, Delaware County HFH, Chenango County HFH...
